Kick off meeting in Orte
The Kick off meeting of the Erasmus+ My Compass took place at the coordinating school, Istituto Omnicomprensivo Orte, VT (Italy), on November 2023.
The participants of the 5 partner organisations finilized the projects' timetable and educational activities. Moreover they established ways of communication between the organisations and dissemination of the project.
Greek Erasmus+ Teachers'
online seminar
8 Greek Erasmus+ teachers attended the online training session held on 16.01.2024 by the 2 Greek Erasmus+ My Compass coordinator teachers of 53rd Lyceum of Athens regarding the career consulting models and the CALLING plattform.
In this way the initial online training by EuLab on Decembrer 2023 was spread to more Erasmus teachers.
Romanian Erasmus+ Teachers' seminar
23 Romanian Erasmus+ teachers attended the training session held on 31.01.2024 by the Romanian Erasmus+ My Compass coordinator teachers at Liceul Teoretic "Ovidius" regarding the career consulting models and the CALLING plattform as part of the teachers' training sessions for the Erasmus+ My Compass project.
Portuguese Erasmus+ Teachers' seminar
The Portuguese Erasmus+ teachers attended the training session held on 31.01.2024 by the Portuguese Erasmus+ My Compass coordinator teachers at Agrupamento de Escolas José Saramago regarding the career consulting models.
Online meeting
Organisations' online meeting on April, 15th, 2024. In this meeting the project members discussed about the progress of the project regarding the WPs and organised the activities to follow in the near future.
Upcoming organisations' meeting to Romania
The upcoming organisations' meeting of the Erasmus+ My Compass will be held in Constanza, Romania, on 13-14 May 2024.
CALLING tests for the Romanian students
The Erasmus+ MyCompass teachers of Liceul Teoretic Ovidius implemented a CALLING test survey on 140 students and will present the results in the upcoming organisations' meeting in Constanza on May 2024.
Organisations' meeting in Constanza, Romania
The second face-to-face meeting of the Erasmus+ My Compass took place in Constanza, Romania, on 13-14 May 2024.The hosting organisation was Liceul Teoretic "Ovidius". The participants of the 5 partner organisations presented the outcomes of WP2 so far and organised the upcoming educational activities. Moreover the teachers participated in training seminars held by the experts of EuLab regarding the students' orientation and consulting methodology.
Surveys on vulnerability
On June 2024 each partner school was assigned to implement a survey regarding the vulnerable students of the respective schools. Vulnerable students are a target group for the Erasmus+ My Compass project. The 4 schools selected one major vulnerability that is typical for the school. The results will be presented during the next transnational meeting in Portugal in September 2024.
Vulnerable students such as the ones that living in low-income families, single-parent families, have immigrant/refugee background, have disabilities are more or less common in all 4 schools and are in need of career consulting.
CALLING tests for the Greek students
30 vulnerable students of 53rd Lyceum of Athens accessed the CALLING platform in early September 2024 as a follow up of the analysis of the vulnerability survey. More students will access the updated CALLING platform after the organisations' meeting in Portugal in September 2024.
Organisations' meeting in Poceirão-Palmela, Portugal
The third face-to-face meeting of the Erasmus+ My Compass took place in Poceirão, Palmela, Protugal, on 24-25 September 2024.The hosting organisation was Agrupamento de Escolas José Saramago. The participants of the 5 partner organisations presented and discussed the results of the vulnerabilities survey, explained the updated CALLING platform, presented the initiation of the methodological toolkit for teachers and, also, organised the upcoming educational activities, such as the online teachers' seminar in October 2024.
Upcoming techers' online meeting
The upcoming teachers' online seminar on the Methodological toolkit of the Erasmus+ My Compass will be held on 14 October 2024.
Celebration of ErasmusDays with the MY COMPASS Project!
Participating in #ErasmusDays is a great way to promote the successes of your Erasmus+ experience and perhaps open the doors to this adventure!
Sharing your experience and organizing an event is a way to contribute to spreading the opportunities, results, and values of Erasmus+ and the European Union.
The "My Compass - Enabling Students' Agency in Their Route to the Future" project was presented in partnership schools during ErasmusDays. We illustrated the activities to be carried out and the expected results, involving students and teachers in an innovative guidance path. The project aims to support the evolution of the teacher's role by adopting a teaching model that also includes guidance and providing young people with the necessary skills to face future professional challenges, with particular attention to conditions of vulnerability.
